The future success of any society is directly proportional to the quality of its education system.
In what is perhaps the most important equation for overcoming the complex challenges we face, there are absolutely decisive variables, but the human dimension is and will continue to be the determining factor in school success.
It is precisely with this premise that the Municipality of Leiria develops its Municipal Educational Project, which places all emphasis on the school community: students, teachers, staff, parents – in short, all the agents who participate in this extraordinary journey of our children through the world of knowledge and citizenship.
Our goal is not merely limited to curricular success, but aims to achieve success in the universal education of the student, preparing them to assert themselves in a highly competitive and globally-scale economic context.
At the start of a new school year, I leave a message of encouragement to the entire school community and the commitment that the Municipality of Leiria will remain fully committed to guaranteeing the best learning conditions for our students, to whom we wish to offer the best tools to develop all their potential.
